The Shaw Hall project marked Michigan State University’s inaugural use of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). Collaborating with Neumann/Smith, Clark Construction Company participated in this groundbreaking endeavor focused on renovating Shaw Hall. The project adopted a “pure” IPD approach, demanding comprehensive collaboration among essential stakeholders, with all team members sharing both the project’s financial risk and success.

Our collaborative approach to the project prioritized Lean Principles, integrating learning with action, designing within budget constraints, optimizing facility functionality, and providing fully integrated design solutions to eliminate inefficiencies.
