Michigan State University Grand Rapids Research Center

In our inaugural collaboration with Michigan State University in the Grand Rapids area, Clark Construction Company embarked on a substantial project encompassing a 7-story, approximately 162,680 sq.ft. research building. The first four floors have been meticulously designed as advanced lab and research spaces, while the fifth floor presents a shell space for potential future research needs. The sixth floor is dedicated to a fully constructed small animal vivarium, and the seventh floor serves as a complete mechanical penthouse. The program features diverse spaces such as labs, research facilities, administrative offices, a vivarium, and minimal commercial areas, all contributing to the attainment of LEED Gold Certification.
