Ingham County Jail Expansion

In a pivotal role, Clark Construction Company served as Construction Manager for Ingham County, revitalizing a previously dormant section of the existing jail into a functional space. Renovations encompassed both upper and lower levels, yielding remarkable transformations.

On the upper levels, outdated detox holding cells gave way to a modern officer training area, while new maintenance offices and storage zones were seamlessly integrated. The lower level witnessed a strategic remodeling of the old kitchen area, repurposed to accommodate 80 work-release inmates in dormitory-style spaces. This comprehensive effort also extended to the expansion and modernization of the former Emergency Operations Center (EOC), now equipped with enhanced data lines and systems. The result is a testament to innovation and adaptability, as Clark Construction Company revitalizes spaces to meet evolving needs and optimize functionality within Ingham County.
