Huron Valley Public Schools 2019 Bond Program

The bond revenue supports comprehensive upgrades across all 17 district buildings and associated properties, addressing vital repairs and modernization needs. The improvements encompass a wide range of areas such as lighting, ceilings, sound systems, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and infrastructure updates.

These upgrades extend to various aspects of the educational experience, encompassing safety and security enhancements, roofing improvements, sitework enhancements including parking lots and drives, and advancements in academics, arts, robotics, and athletics. Additionally, the project includes technology updates, improvements to classroom spaces, doors and hardware, media centers, band rooms, early childhood centers, and STEAM facilities. Art and music rooms will be introduced at multiple locations, and theater improvements will enhance the cultural spaces at Milford and Lakeland high schools. Athletic facilities endure upgrades including bleachers, concessions, restrooms, and the incorporation of shelter areas. Notably, in the summer of 2020, new tennis courts, turfs, and tracks at two high schools were introduced, as well as new parking lots and drives. Lastly, boiler and chiller replacements were constructed at five schools.
