The GMCC Master Plan includes a new 120,000 s.f. Recreation Center including multiple
gyms, leisure and training pools, fitness/wellness areas, community area and early childhood
education area. The new facility will be on the existing Midland Community Center property,
attached to the curling center on a 14-acre site adjacent to the Midland’s Central Park. Phase
1 includes the Master Plan scope of work except the expansion of early childhood education,
training pool, community area and expanded parking will be in future phases.
